
It’s so hard to lose weight these days. Wish you could just accept a certain degree of “fluffiness”. But that’s just not the way your frame is built. The graduation ring that you are so proud about and always wear when you’re around people is starting not to fit. Your knees feel like they support too much weight. Fix it. Just fix it. You’ve already made some headway, but you are not meant to be this way. You’re just not.
All region cross-country and 2% body fat with voracious metabolism was a lifetime ago. And worse, it feels like it.
You don’t have to be 17 again. But if your inflamed muscle tendency is actually starting to become more normal, you’re going to have muscle problems when you’re older. 
Tomorrow you will be the oldest you have ever been.
You will also be the youngest you will ever be.
Keep at it. Admit you suck at delayed gratification stuff. And keep at it.
