Here and now. Good times on the horizon. Plenty of money in the bank. Dad passing his stress test and having both of them around for a while longer. Ted’s clock is ticking, but she still has plenty of energy so… not time yet. Someone is looking forward to going to Con with you. Been reading the Book of Proverbs with her. Been getting a lot closer to God too. Finally warm again.
Always funny how Con breaks the year apart for you into before and after. Just a magical time to relive days past with friends and loved ones present.
So happy now. Right now. The future will bring even better times, and far worse times.
But right now you are so happy. Always be grateful to God for everything you have, everything you are, all those you cherish, and every smile you make. For as long as you’re here yourself.
